The automation has built-in diagnostics subsystem which checks the status of the automation itself as well as the status of all the devices connected to it.

When a problem or critical error is detected it is indicated on the users' GUI. The status overview window then says which device or which module is announcing the problem, and the short description of the problem.

The problems announced could be for example missing videoreference, loss of communication with a device, error during data transfer et cetera. If the TV equipment allows for it, even messages such as "Power supply No. 2 of the Mixer1 out of order".

Optional GSM or paging module is available, which sends the error messages and also announcements about problems fixed to the administrators mobile or pager.
