And the winner is ... Televisa!

Televisa won the Broadcast Engineering Excellence Award

Televisa project of technological remodeling of the main broadcast center that broadcasts the four main Televisa's SD TV channels and two HD TV channels included Aveco automation, Tedial archive system, Omneon videoservers and implementation of tapeless workflow. And, this project won the Broadcast Engineering Excellence Award.

Our pride of this award comes from our Astra being the heart of the broadcast center. Astra atomation distributed across Mexico City controls ingests, manages media, controls simulcasting on HD and SD channels and even handles the Televisa's sophisticated ad model utilizing also DVE effects, voice ads and graphics supers.
