ASTRA Studio 2 on air at SWR, Germany
our news studios at SWR, all configured and equipped differently, are controlled by ASTRA Studio 2. The Aveco’s second generation of studio automation system provides major enhancements:
- new highly customizable GUI that can run on Windows, Apple and Linux machines, with support of multiple workspaces and spanning across multiple monitors
- preproduction, the sophisticated multichannel ingest fully integrated to the rundown. It allows to interrupt the ingest, find a splicing point, cut in and continue ingesting synchronously on all ingest channels.
- flexibility – any control room can control any studio. Any device can be utilized for any production job regardless of it’s location.
- control of all equipment in the studios including the virtual studio system
- tight integration with Newsroom Computer System
